New business zone in Prokuplje getting ready for investors – Construction of substation begins

In the business zone in Prokuplje, the construction of the substation TS35/10kV “Prokuplje 5”, with a power of 2×8 MVA, has begun. The investor and financier is Elektrodistribucija Srbije, and the value is RSD 274 million, without the VAT. The deadline for the completion of these works, with the technical check and the obtaining of the exploitation permit, is July 9, 2025.

– The Industrial Zone in Prokuplje is officially in the register of the Development Agency of the Republic of Serbia, and it is now time for potential investors to make their move. Along with the Nis-Pristina highway, which will pass nearby, it will fully change the image of the Toplica District. The new industrial zone in Prokuplje is ready to take in investors that would create new jobs here – they said at the Prokuplje local self-government.

The entire infrastructure on an area of 16 hectares consists of waterworks and sewerage, traffic routes, lighting, electrical installations and a telecommunications network.
