Vaider Group invests EUR 51 million in Srpska fabrika stakla in Paracin – Production increase to over 270 tons a day announced from May

Srpska fabrika stakla Paracin (SFS) Paracin aims to be a top producer of glass in the Balkans, specialized for packaging in the food industry. All the planned strategic investments for the modernization of the production process are in progress since the acquisition of SFS Paracin by the international glass industry Vaider Group, the company announced.

– Vaider Group is one of the most dynamic and successful European business groups in the industry of premium glass packaging, with thorough specific knowledge and experience that we can share within the members of the group. Since the acquisition of SFS Paracin by Vaider Group at the end of 2022, an intensive investment cycle has been ongoing in Paracin, worth around EUR 51 million. As soon as this month (May), we will increase our production capacities to over 270 tons a day – it is said.

They add that investing in associates in Paracin is another important aspect.

– We are currently focusing on further developing our current employees, which will enable an efficient transfer of knowledge to the new employees in the later phases. Our goal is to improve the competences. So far, we have carried out estimates of competences in the workplace, and the associates have been given individual training plans and mentors in order to more efficiently acquire new knowledge and skills. We are actively expanding our team of employees. We are employing throughout the year, in line with the needs of the work processes, primarily in production, as well as in supporting the functions, administration and sales. We are replacing retirements where necessary and we are also looking for new associates for the needs of our new investments in the coming years – it is announced.
