Milsped Group to establish direct rail line between China and Serbia

Milsped Group, a leading regional company in the field of transport and logistics, signed an agreement on cooperation with the prestigious Chinese company Shijiazhuang International Land Port, when, at an official ceremony and with the presence of high officials of the Chinese province of Hebei, the arrival of the first freight train directly from China to Serbia was marked.

With this cooperation, a direct rail transport line between Hebei and Serbia is established, which is a considerable improvement in the transport chain. Instead of the previous route through Europe, freight trains will now have a direct line between these two regions, which will enable a quicker and more efficient transport of goods.

Through this innovative approach, Milsped Group continues setting standards in the logistics industry, enabling a quicker, more reliable and environmentally acceptable transport of goods between China and Serbia – stated Nebojsa Krivokuca, the CEO of Milsped Group.

Considering the growing importance of rail transport, especially in the context of trade with China, and considering the current challenges, such as the transit time and crisis caused by the Red Sea conflict, Milsped Group once again confirms its dedication to the development of this type of transport as a key segment of an efficient and sustainable supply chain.

Let us remind that, last year, within its member company M BOX Terminal, Milsped Group also launched a whole new intermodal connection for Serbia, Nis – Wels – Nis, which provides clients with the transport and access of goods to the market of Western and Central Europe.
