Vesovic: Our companies will establish excellent contacts, have quality meetings and agree new jobs in Mostar

The 25th International Economy Fair has begun in Mostar, and more than 100 business people from Serbia expect good meetings, new contacts, jobs and increased exports.

– At the Mostar Economy Fair, 26 companies from Serbia are presenting themselves, from the agricultural and food sector, metal and chemical industry, furniture industry, transport, recycling, logistics, as well as planning in industry and the manufacture of agricultural drones. I am certain that our companies will establish excellent contacts, have quality meetings and agree new jobs. This is the biggest and most important economy fair in Bosnia and Herzegovina and over 20 countries from the region and the EU are taking part in it – said Mihailo Vesovic, the director of the Sector for Strategic Analyses, Services and Internationalization of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, as announced on the chamber’s website.

He adds that the relaunching of the air service between Belgrade and Mostar will enable much better connections between business people, tourists and citizens and reminds that Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most important partners of Serbia, the country’s second biggest exporting destination. The external trade amounts to around EUR 3 billion, and the surplus on the Serbian side is EUR 954.2 million. The exchange of services between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is worth around EUR 760 million, of which Serbia’s surplus amounts to around EUR 130 million.
