When asked by this portal how they saw the Serbian market, considering that they had purchased a Serbian domain not long before, the company’s headquarters in Poland pointed out that the purchase of the domain for Serbia did not have any direct connection with the potential plans for the development of the retail network.
– We are expanding our domain portfolio, which guarantees an efficient protection of our brands which operate within the group – they added from the central of the Polish chain Zabka.
Unofficially, Zabka could open the first stores in Romania as soon as this year.
Zabka operates in over 10,000 locations throughout Poland and offers fast shopping in small-format stores, in which it offers a wide selection of drinks, sweets, sandwiches, hot dogs, fruit, takeaway coffee… Zabka pays great attention to innovative solutions and the implementation of new technologies in retail.
Let us remind that the Polish discount chain Biedronka is also planning an expansion in central and eastern Europe. The plan includes the penetration of the markets of Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania… The market chain Dino, with the seat in Poland, is also considering international operations in certain countries.
