Twelve Companies from Serbia Among Exhibitors at Business Fair in Banjaluka

Twelve companies from Serbia are presenting their products at the first International Business Fair Banja Luka EXPO 2024, which is being held from April 3 through 5 in Banjaluka, announced the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).

With the support of the CCIS, within the National Pavilion of Serbia, on 121 m2, in the central hall 2, the following companies are presenting their offer: Nectar, Imlek, DPS Klas Group, Budimka, Serbia Organica with the brands "Humanic Code" and "Timomed", Neoplanta, Baby Food Factory, Rubin, Tehnomarket, Metal-Flex, Milsped and CPCE (Center for Applied Circular Economy), a member of Elixir Group.

– The market of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the leading exporting market for the local economy, with the trade having reached a value of around EUR 3 billion in 2023, with a surplus of the Serbian economy of over EUR 950 million – says Tatjana Beuk from the Center for Regional Cooperation of the CCIS. She adds that, of the total export of goods from BiH to Serbia, the share of the exports from the Republika Srpska entity is around 25%, whereas, of the total import of goods from Serbia to BiH, around 55% is placed in Republika Srpska.

As she points out, the presentation at the fair in Banjaluka is a good opportunity for local exhibitors to present their products and place them on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also third markets, as well as to solidify the existing business contacts and acquire new ones.

The fair in Banjaluka is the biggest fair in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be held in the complex of the University Center – Campus, on an area of 15,000 m2. The fair is of a general profile, so exhibitors from various industries will present at it, such as construction, metalworking and electrical industry, electronic, IT sector, wood industry, devices and machines, technology, robotics, real estate, architecture and planning, financial sector and services.

Around 300 exhibitors from the region and the world are expected to take part in the fair, and this year’s country partner is the Republic of Serbia.
