National Robotics Cup “Eurobot Srbija” on April 6 in Novi Sad – Local Young Scientists to Create Robot for “Mars Colonization”

The XXI National Robotics Cup “Eurobot Srbija” will be held at the Science-Technology Park in Novi Sad, on April 6, beginning at 12.30pm.

“Eurobot” is an international contest for the young, predominantly students, in the domain of robotics. Each year, a robot is made that is supposed to fulfill a whole new task. The Eurobot 2024 theme is “Mars colonization”.

This year, “Eurobot Srbija” will gather 16 teams from four cities (Novi Sad, Belgrade, Sid and Pancevo). The contest will be held in the hall of the STP building.

The three best ranked teams from the national cup qualify for participation in the European robotics contest “Eurobot 2024”, which will be held in France from May 8 through 11.

The organizer of the contest is the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and it is sponsored by numerous companies which have recognized the enthusiasm and the desire to acquire knowledge in the domain of robotics. The Provincial Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Science-Technology Park have supported the contest.
