CANSEE Canadian Serbian Business Association has announced the open call for participation at a mini-MBA business course for entrepreneurs "LEADER (Leadership Education and Development in developing countries of the region) Project Serbia 2024" - an international program which will take place in Belgrade from May 13-24, 2024. The project is organized in cooperation with Canadian Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, 1st overall business school in the Canadian ranking, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Embassy of Canada in Serbia.
– This is the 8th year that CANSEE is organizing this unique Canadian educational program in Serbia. The experiences of past participants were more than positive, and this year’s project is expected to have more participants. During the ten-day course the world's best practices will be shared with LEADER project participants, guided by five Canadian instructors from Ivey School of Business that are coming from Canada to Belgrade – said Mirjana Dončić Beaton, Managing Director of CANSEE.
Canadian LEADER Project is an international educational program, founded in 1991 by MBA students from the Ivey Business School with the mandate of empowering promising entrepreneurs in frontier markets to envision, launch, and/or scale new ventures. The LEADER Project is implemented through a series of MBA–style workshops, which are tailor-made to suit its participant’s profile and it is aimed at enabling them to successfully develop their business ideas through cutting-edge business training techniques. Since its inception, LEADER has provided thousands of promising participants with the analytical tools and decision-making skills to improve local economic conditions. So far, the participants have gone on to launch successful entrepreneurial ventures in media, finance, professional services, and many other industries.
LEADER Project Serbia 2024 will open seats to a total of 40 participants. The applications are open to all, but priority will be given to young entrepreneurs from Serbia who are planning or have already established their own entrepreneurial business, managers of startup companies and young professionals. Participants will be selected from various industrial areas, in accordance with the principles of gender equality.
Bearing in mind selection of participants, the focus of this ten-day intensive course will be the acquisition of the necessary business skills and knowledge important for their future development. During the course, participants will create, both individually and in groups, and on the final day they will have the opportunity to present their business plans and be evaluated by an expert jury.
Applications for LEADER Project Serbia 2024 are open until April 15. For more information and application process please visit www.cansee.biz.
