Chinese Company Trona Solar to Build Solar Park Near Zrenjanin

The Chinese company Trona Solar intends to build a solar park in the cadaster municipality Melenci near Zrenjanin.

The Urban Planning Department of the City Administration of Zrenjanin has announced the early public inspection of the Study for the preparation of the detailed regulation plan of the Solar Park Solar Power Plant Theta in the cadaster municipality Melenci, which was prepared by South Banat Energy Hazelnut from Pancevo.

The early public inspection of the study lasts until March 16. The study is presented in the Town Hall of Zrenjanin and on the city’s official website.

Although it belongs to the cadaster municipality Melenci, the parcel of around 280 hectares on which the construction of the solar park is planned is closer to the settlements of Mihajlovo and Jankov Most and encompasses predominantly non-arable land.
