The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has stopped the tender for the execution of the works on the continuation of the construction of the Patrijarha Pavla Blvd traffic route, Stage 1, because all the sent bids have been pronounced unacceptable.

Both bidders have made offers whose price exceeds the estimated value of the public procurement of RSD 2.1 billion, without the VAT (around EUR 18 million), the decision says.

The offer of the group of bidders consisting of Green Decor, Strabag AG and Strabag doo amounted to RSD 2.7 billion without the VAT, whereas the group of companies consisting of ATMBG doo Novi Beograd, D.C. Energocoop d.o.o, Demetra RB doo, DUNEX doo, GEOURBGROUP, Intergradnja COOP d.o.o, RAS inzenjering niskogradnja, RESA gradnja Banovci, SMART FOUNDATION doo and STARTING doo Batajnica offered RSD 2.66 billion, without the VAT, to do the job.

The president of Temporary Organ of the City of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, stated earlier that the works, whose value, according to him, was around RSD 2.5 billion, would start as soon as the new contractor was selected and pointed out that it would considerably reduce the problem of the bottleneck occurring on that stretch.

At the beginning of this year, when the second stage of the reconstruction of Patrijarha Pavla Blvd was completed, namely, the section from Kosutnjak to Pere Velimirovica Street, Sapic said that, after the obtaining of the construction permit, a month and a half to two months later, the works on the section from Kosutnjak to the Ada Bridge would begin.

– That means that, if the deadlines are honored, the connecting with the Ada Bridge will be completed in the summer of 2024 – Sapic said at the time and added that the tram infrastructure would also be connected with the Ada Bridge and that there would be two lanes in each direction.
