This company has recognized the potentials of Montenegro in the production of electrical energy from renewable sources, so it will build the solar power plant Cevo with a total power of 150 MW on Cetinje.
For the realization of this investment, the state has issued urban planning and technical requirements to Solar Power, and they have also received approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment Study. Another important item is the contract on connecting to the power distribution network, which was signed with Crnogorski elektroprenosni system (CGES).
It is important to note that the investor carried out the entire solar power plant project up to the point of approval in slightly over a year and a half.
The solar power plant Cevo will be built on land of 1.3 million m2.
The construction of the solar power plant will begin this year, and the works are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
