Aquarium for scuba diving and Japanese Budo Park opened at Ada
As of Saturday, July 23rd, numerous visitors of Ada Ciganlija are able to try themselves as scuba divers in an aquarium within the Adventure Park, and they can also visit unique Budo Park and get familiar with the Japanese culture and tradition.
This unique aquarium has the volume of 75 cubic meters and it is adapted to fit the needs of both beginners and professional scuba divers so that the plan is to hold a national breath-hold diving competition (static apnea) in it.
Ada Ciganlija has got another corner for relaxation and rest - Budo Park, intended for all those who love or want to get familiar with the Japanese culture.
The visitors of Budo Park will have the chance to watch the Japanese theater plays, learn the skill of Origami paper folding and the secrets to making the Japanese tea, as well as to discover "the path of harmony".
- This part is a symbol of the friendly relationship between Serbia and Japan, which has been cherished by the two countries for many years in the past - said Ambassador of Japan to Belgrade Toshio Tsunozaki who also expressed hope that the park would make it possible for the citizens of Serbia to learn more about the old Japanese customs and the way of life in that country.
Budo Park was designed by our karate player Tanja Petrovic, while the implementation of that project was helped by members of Nipon club, under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the city of Belgrade, the Japanese embassy, and the public company Ada Ciganlija.
