The investor is the company Windflow West doo Beograd, which, according to the data of the Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA), is owned by the American SunFlow Holding (70%) and the Turkish company Vulcanus Enerji Yatirim Anonim Sirketi (30%).
The total area covered by the plan is 178.85 ha, and this is a hilly terrain with the slopes and peaks of the hills Gola Cuka, Drenjak, Baltina Cuka, Belenovacki Preslap, Gradiste and Djuranica.
The space planned for the construction features mostly forest land and agricultural land to a lesser extent.
As said in the document, the plan is to install nine wind generators, each with a power of around 6.2 MW. The height of the generator pole is around 142 + 91 m (the height of the pole with the generator plus the height of the blade).
In the south part, a space is planned for a battery storage and the construction of the substation TS 110/35kV Grot and Oblik.
The carrier of the preparation of the plan is the Department for Urban Planning, Property-Legal Affairs, Utility-Housing Activities and Environmental Protection of the City of Vranje, and the plan was prepared by Iveks Plus from Babusnica.
The public inspection will last until March 11.
Let us remind that, in 2022, the early public inspection on the occasion of the preparation of this plan was announced. According to that document, the plan was to build a wind farm with a maximum installed power of 100 MW, on an area of 486.70 ha.
Windflow West also plans the construction of the wind farm Poljanica in Vranje, and the agreement with the City was signed in November 2022.
