NeoMedica Nis to Start Producing Hematology Reagents in Egypt

The Serbian company NeoMedica from Nis is to soon start producing hematology reagents in Egypt, which is the first high medical technology transfer, especially in the field of in-vitro diagnostics, from Serbia to Egypt.

This was confirmed on February 3 in Cairo by the official signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the companies NeoMedica and El Hoda and the Egyptian state agency UPA (The Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement and Medical Supply). This way, NeoMedica and Serbian innovative technology made a big entrance to the Egyptian market and the countries in the area, standing shoulder to shoulder with big countries and tech giants, as announced on the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).

The reagents will be produced under the NeoMedica brand in the most modern production facilities of the local partner El Hoda, whereas UPA will ensure the placement on the Egyptian market and provide support when it comes to the export to the surrounding countries. NeoMedica will transfer its know-how to Egypt, strictly control the formula and supervise all the processes, so as to guarantee the high quality of the produced reagents.

NeoMedica and its distributor El Hoda and the Ministry of Health of Egypt have been cooperating since 2016, and the signed agreement which defines the production of hematology reagents confirms years of tight cooperation.

The ceremony in Cairo was attended by high officials of the Egyptian government, the ambassador of Serbia to Egypt, Miroslav Sestovic, and his associates and representatives of the embassies of China, Great Britain, South Korea and France and the company El Hoda.
