Scottish Company Aggreko Takes Over Slovenian Resalta, Which Also Operates in Serbia

The Scottish company Aggreko has announced that it has taken over the Slovenian company for Energy services Resalta. They added that the acquisition is subject to regulatory conditions and that it was expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.

Resalta, which also operates in Serbia, is one of the biggest providers of solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Central and Eastern Europe, with expertise in solar energy, biomass and gas combined production facilities, heat pumps, cooling and other energy efficiency measures.


Aggreko is a global supplier of portable and modular energy, equipment for temperature control and energy services, with the seat in Glasgow. It was founded in 1962 and has more than 6,000 employees in 65 countries. In August 2021, it was acquired by the investment funds TDR Capital and I Squared Capital.
