Smederevo Road with Four Lanes – Roads of Serbia Given Order for Project Preparation

The PE Roads of Serbia has received an order to prepare the project of the expansion of the Smederevo Road to four lanes, pointed out the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic. He also reminded that the construction of Section C of the Ring Road around Belgrade, from Bubanj Potok to Pancevo, was to come and that, related to that, the aim was to build the Bolec Interchange.

– That way, all the residents who live in this part of Grocka will no longer have to access the Smederevo Road through Belgrade, which is jammed and can’t be expanded for many reasons. Instead, they will be able to access the ring road around Belgrade through the Bolec interchange and reach every part of the city – Vesic assures and reminds that the construction of a large road and rail bridge near Vinca was to follow in the municipality of Grocka.

Vesic talked about these projects as part of his tour of the works on the Brestovik-Umcari road section.
