Krusevac Could Get New Industrial Zone

Krusevac is considering the forming of Industrial Zone L, of around 80 ha, which encompasses the space between the planned east ring road and the highway, that is, the east part of the Industrial Zone North, cadaster municipality Bivolje.

The plan defines the part of the route of the IB-grade state road which takes over the function of the north ring road around the city after the construction of the highway. A traffic route matrix is formed, consisting of tertiary traffic routes, with the goal of creating the conditions for access to the existing cadaster parcels and securing the regulation belt for the installation of infrastructural lines.

The regulation of the bed of the Kosijski Potok stream, which goes in part through the area covered by the plan, and a full equipping with technical and utility infrastructure are planned. This creates the planning basis for the forming of a new industrial zone, for the development of business activities, that is, for their more efficient adaptation to the purpose.

The purposes of the area covered by the plan are industry and production, that is, business activities.

Commercial activities are planned as a complementary/compatible purpose, considering the routes of the main traffic corridors (the planned highway, north and east ring roads) which make the area covered by the plan attractive to their development.

As compatible purposes, and in order to enable a controlled flexibility of the space, municipal activities are planned (recycling yards, abandoned animals shelters), as well as sports and recreation features.

Considerable areas within the plan are meant for protective greenery as the accompanying purpose, which contributes to environmental protection.

It is necessary to emphasize the necessity of the establishment of embankments and the raising of the terrain to the level which enables a functional connecting with the traffic routes and the infrastructure. Considering the high level of underground waters, all construction is conditioned on the testing and potential repair of the terrain.

The parking and garage spaces for the vehicles are planned on the users’ parcels.

The public inspection lasts until January 27.
