Wind Farm Gornjak to Be Built on Mountain Peaks of Homolje – Investor Windflow East Plans to Install 35 Wind Turbines

The members of the temporary organ of the Municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi have greenlit the decision on the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan of the Gornjak Wind Farm. The Belgrade-based company Windflow East has commissioned and financed the preparation of the plan.

The plan covers the area of certain mountain peaks of the Homolje Mountains in the territory of this municipality, of around 3,030.5 ha, in the places of Melnica, Vitovnica, Stamnica, Bistrica, Zdrelo and Setonje.

The preliminary analyses, as said, have shown that the plan would be to install around 35 wind turbines, with a total installed power of up to 200 MW, which would be connected to the distribution system according to the conditions of Elektromreza Srbije.

The deadline for the preparation of the plan is one year.

Let us remind that, at the end of 2022, Iveks Plus from Babusnica prepared the study of the Detailed Regulation Plan of the wind farm Gornjak of the investor Windflow East from Belgrade, but that, due to the changes in the law regulations in the fields of planning and construction and the changes in the area covered by the Detailed Regulation Plan, the previous decision has been revoked.

Previously, the members of the Municipal Assembly of Zagubica also greenlit the decision on the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan of the wind farm Gornjak.
