Tender for Construction of Joint Border Crossing Sremska Raca Between Serbia and B&H Published – Job Worth EUR 45.2 Million

Ahead of the New Year, the Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia published the tender for the construction of the joint border crossing Sremska Raca between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The value of the job has been estimated at around RSD 5.3 billion (EUR 45.2 million).

The location of the complex of the new border crossing is planned on the Kuzmin-Sremska Raca-state border section of the highway route, around 1 km before the turning toward the bridge on the Sava.

The estimated length of the route is 2,500 m, and the width is 335 m. The total surface amounts to 50.5 ha, according to the tendering documentation.

Before the point of reaching the river Sava, the future border crossing is planned, which will be shared by the two states.

According to the announcement made by the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, the integrated border crossing between B&H and Serbia will be put into operation in 2025.

The tendering documentation says that the deadline for the execution of the works may not be longer than 24 months from joining the project.
