Final List for My First Salary Program Published, Agreements to Be Signed from January 1 through 19

The National Employment Service has announced that, within the “My First Salary” program, the final list of employers with the number of the selected candidates has been published, and the signing of the agreements is taking place between January 1 and 19, 2024. A total of 9,449 employers, which opened 16,482 positions for 24,294 employees, responded to the public invitation for the realization of the “My First Salary” program of inciting youth employment.

After the employers’ applications were examined, a total of 14,337 positions for 21,421 employees at 8,119 employers were approved.

Of the 13,000 registered young candidates, 9,733 applied for the positions advertised by the employers.

After the employers have chosen the candidates, 7,650 young people will get the opportunity to get involved in the program at 4,570 employers in 7,462 job positions.

Between January 1 and 19, 2024, the agreements are to be signed between the National Employment Service, the employers and the selected candidates.

The “My First Salary” program lasts nine months, during which time the National Employment Service will pay a monthly sum of RSD 28,000 to each candidate with secondary education and RSD 34,000 to those with higher education.

The program is realized by the National Employment Service with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, the Ministry of Finance, the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Government and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
