Keter Energy Planning Construction of Solar Park of 4 MW in Luznice near Kragujevac

The Belgrade-based company Keter Energy is planning the construction of the solar park Keter Solar with an approved power of around 4,000 kW (4 MW) within which the following needs to be planned: a field of solar panels mounted on a metal structure elevated from the ground, access roads, a MBTS-type substation and cable lines between the solar panels and the substations, as well as between the substation and the switchgear for placing the electricity in the grid of the electrical energy system of Serbia.

The area covered by the urban project amounts to 5 ha 57 a 48 m2 and is located in the cadaster municipality Luznice, in the northwest part of the administrative area of the city of Kragujevac, along the state road Topola – main road (Belgrade road) – Kragujevac.

According to the preliminary design, the photovoltaic panels are installed on the fixed structure meant for the mounting of solar panels on the ground, at an angle of 25 degrees relative to the horizontal plane and oriented toward the south. The total number of panels is around 8,298, with an individual installed power of 580 Wp. The total installed DC power in the photovoltaic panels is around 4.8 MWp DC, that is, 4 MW AC.

The planned photovoltaic panels are bifacial. These are the kinds of solar panels which can generate electrical energy on the front and back sides of the panel. This type of panel can increase the overall efficiency and production of electrical energy of the solar panel system.
