Pop band Frajle and Zvonko Bogdan winery in Novi Sad - Wine Festival begins on June 30
Trg Slobode square in Novi Sad will be open on Thursday (30 June 2011) for thousands of visitors who can hardly wait for the biggest wine festival in the region to begin.
Hundred wineries from 10 countries, including wine makers from Serbia, will offer the citizens of Novi Sad their most beautiful wines to taste and enjoy them. The top offer of wines will be made complete with the products that go perfectly with wine, such as quality cheeses and olive oils. Gastronomes will be able to enjoy good wines and various specialties prepared by cooks from Hungary, the special guest country at InterFest.
- Some of our exhibitors are throwing parties during InterFest and we use this occasion to invite all lovers of sparkling wines to come to the big summer party Crnogorski Val (Montenegrin Wave) on Friday, 1 July 2011, at Buddha bar in Novi Sad, from noon. This party will be thrown by Plantaze 13. jul. Every year a new winery joins us, which is also the case this year. Zvonko Bogdan winery from Subotica will have its debut at this year's InterFest - reads the statement issued by the organizer.
The number of wineries from Vojvodina at this event is growing larger every year so that InterFest, as the organizer, hopes that the first festival of wines of Vojvodina will be organized soon. On Thursday, June 30, from 9 PM, the pop band Frajle will perform their song "Stiklice" (High Heels), which is the second song they wrote, next to a 4-meter heel on the stage at the main square in Novi Sad.
Also, in addition to announced performers Aleksandar Dujin Orchestra, Studio Alektik band and tamburitza bands, the visitors will also have a chance to watch the premiere of Vinski Kabare (Wine Cabaret), which will be performed on Friday by the band Teodulija from Belgrade.
Just like in the previous years, InterFest is backed by the City of Novi Sad, the Government of AP Vojvodina, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
