However, a few years ago a new possibility appeared - payment by mobile phone. Today, when users leave the house, instead of a wallet, they can only take their mobile phone, their new wallet with them and enjoy simple, fast and secure contactless payments.

If you are a Mastercard user, here comes the best part! In order to further motivate consumers to try out the benefits of mobile payments on a personal example, the Mastercard company every weekend during November and December gives its users who pay via mobile wallets the opportunity to earn cashback.

For spending 3,000 dinars during one weekend at retailers participating in this campaign, namely Cineplexx, DM, Hleb & Kifle, Merkator S (Idea, Roda and Merkator hypermarkets) and Sport Vision, each user will receive a refund in the amount of 1,000 dinars.

The value of the individual transaction that users make is not limited, just like the number of individual transactions that will add up to 3000 dinars - it is important that the transactions are made with a mobile wallet on Saturday or Sunday and that it be done with a Mastercard card within the mobile wallet. In this way, every Mastercard user who uses a mobile wallet will have the opportunity to receive a cashback of 1,000 dinars during one weekend, with a maximum of nine possible returns during the entire campaign.

Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on our market, as well as mobile wallets of card issuing banks. How to get a mobile wallet? First of all, you need to check with your bank that issued your Mastercard payment card whether mobile wallets are enabled.

The process of starting a mobile wallet is simple - after installing the application, you click on the "+" option and enter the card information by typing the required data or taking a photo of the card. After that, the mobile wallet with your Mastercard card is ready for payment, while transactions can be confirmed biometrically, i.e. by scanning your face or fingerprint or entering the phone`s unlock code.
