“Space Houses” Arriving to Serbia – We Will Be First in This Part of Europe to Have High-Tech Space Capsules for Residence, Camping, Offices… (PHOTO)

The so-called “space” capsules – houses are already all the rage in the world, and now they are finally arriving to our market as well.

The company Cabin House Belgrade has become the importer for space houses made by a Chinese producer for Southeast Europe.

These are pre-fabricated high-tech houses which are produced in a factory in the Chinese city of Foshan, and they can be used for residence, camping, offices…

The houses, which look like small space ships, have a zinced steel frame and no foundation. Instead, they are set up on metal foundation legs. They come fully equipped with a smart home system, they have floor heating, button-operated curtains, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom, a skylight… and can be installed anywhere.



– The first model is arriving from China in December. It is the Z7 model of the Zcamp brand, with dimensions of 11.5 x 3.2 x 32 meters. So far, we have ordered that one model, and as for the other scale-models, we’ll see how it goes, whether we are satisfied and whether we continue the cooperation with the Chinese partner – the owner of Cabin House Belgrade, Aleksandar Zubac, says for eKapija.



He emphasizes that the interest in space houses in Serbia is already huge, because it is a new thing in our market.

– This is the first type of such houses not just here, but in this part of Europe. There are plenty of those who are interested, we have received over 1,000 inquests since we announced the import – says Zubac, who nevertheless expects around ten to be sold in the first year.

The reason, above all, could be the price.

– The price of a house will be EUR 80,000, with the assembling. In China, those houses cost EUR 35 to 40 thousand, but the price is doubled due to the costs of the delivery, the customs and the VAT, which amount to over EUR 15,000 – our interviewee says.



Zubac also reveals that Cabin House Belgrade, which raises pre-fabricated structures and does innovative shipbuilding, plans to put one space house on a catamaran hull and thereby create an interesting product unprecedented in the world.



– This way, for a lot less money, you get a luxury yacht, and we expect the project to be completed in January – emphasizes Zubac, who also says that his company has created the first mobile pool in the world.

Our interviewee reveals that the space house and the scale-models will be available for those who want to see them at the company’s showroom in Progar, and he also announces that he plans to place them in the countries of the region and this part of Europe.

– We import them through Croatia and, from there, it is easy for us to deliver them anywhere in the region, the former republics and beyond – Zubac concludes.
