The Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) of the European Union has announced that two shipments from Serbia have been stopped. In October, two shipments from Serbia were stopped at the border with Croatia and the border with Slovenia. The RASFF website says that, on October 18, at the border with Slovenia, the shipment of frozen raspberries from Serbia was stopped.

The reasons for returning the shipment are unauthorized quantities of the fungicide iprodione. In the raspberries, 0.023 mg/kg of iprodione was detected, and the allowed quantity is 0.01 mg/kg.

The RASFF website also says that, on October 25, the shipment of food supplements from Serbia was stopped at the border with Croatia.

As pointed out, the reason is that it contains forbidden ingredients.

The goods have been returned from the border to the sender.
