Srbija Voz has opened the public procurement procedure for the removal of graffiti from trains, more concretely, a total of 119 trains – 60 electric ones, 33 diesel ones and 26 classic ones, says the text of the public procurement procedure.

– Due to the frequent appearance of graffiti on various types of trains, it is necessary to secure visibility through the glass panes on them, secure the visibility of the individual number of rail cars and other indicators which affect the proper functioning of the trains in traffic, and to remove the graffiti from the train or rail car body itself. To the end of removing said problems which have occurred due to the making of the graffiti, it is necessary to carry out the procurement of the service of removing the graffiti from the trains – the documentation specifies.

As added, Srbija Voz cannot predict the location, scope, or quantity of the graffiti, so this occurs sporadically, in irregular time intervals.

– For said reasons, the removal of graffiti would be done in a suitable place in the following locations – TPS Zemun, Nis, Lapovo, Zajecar, Zrenjanin, Sombor and Vrsac. The service has to be done within 48 hours of the moment of the procuring party’s announcement. The announcement would specify the surfaces covered by graffiti (in square meters) so that the provider of the service would estimate the human and material resources necessary for the provision of the service – the documentation specifies.

With the offered price, the bidder is also obligated to secure the chemical products and all the necessary equipment for the removal of graffiti, as well as a bid without the chemical products included. The provider of the service is obligated to bring back the part of the hall and the track where the removal of graffiti is done to the initial state upon the completion of the job.

Bids may be sent by November 6, 2023, and more details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
