The conference is organized with the support of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication and the Cyber Security Network, with the aim of providing an all-encompassing overview of what is current in the field of information security – from new regulations, activities of the economy and the academic community, to showcasing models and solutions for awareness raising, as well as threats and protection.
The introductory part of the conference will be dedicated to an extremely important and current topic – the new bill which regulates information security and the key changes it brings. In addition to that, there will be discussion about harmonizing with the EU regulatory frameworks and the NIS 2 directive in the local legislation, while also mentioning the practices of EU states. As the conference goes on, there will be talk about topics that are often in the public eye, namely, the information security of the financial sector and the turbulence that the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning has introduced to the field of cyber security. Experts from various branches of the financial sector will talk about the threats, but also the mechanisms of protection of both the information systems and the individuals who use them. The way artificial intelligence is misused for cyber crime, but also how new technologies can be and already are used for system defense and attack detection, is the topic at one of the panels of the conference.
Special attention will be paid to education and raising awareness of the threats and manners of protection as a way toward a safer use of technologies, so activities that various organizations realize in this field will be presented.
