The Government of Serbia has sent to the parliamentary procedure the draft law on the borrowing of the Republic of Serbia from NLB Komercijalna Banka for the purposes of financing the construction of the ring road around Kragujevac. This is a long-term investment loan denominated in dinars in the amount of up to RSD 8.4 billion (EUR 71.7 million).

The loan, as said, will be used for the construction of all three sections, that is, for 22 km of the road. These are section 1: from km 0+000 to km 5+000 (Jovanovac Interchange and route km 0+700 to km 5+000); section 2: from km 5+000 to km 13+400; and section 3: from km 13+400 to km 22+000.

The maturity date of loan is 10 years, including a grace period of three years, with the repayment of the principal amount in equal three-month installments.

Let us remind that, on June 19, the government adopted the decision by which the consortium consisting of the companies Srbijaautoput and Euro Motus was selected as the strategic partner on the construction of the northern ring road around Kragujevac.

The value of the project is EUR 265.2 million, and the deadline for the realization of the project is November 30, 2028.

According to the official website of the City of Kragujevac, the North Ring Road around Kragujevac is planned as a traffic route around 22.2 kilometers long, which goes through the settlements: Cvetojevac, Novi Milanovac, Opornica, Poskurice, Divostin. The planned route connects the most important entrance-exit routes: the state roads Batocina-Kragujevac-Kraljevo, Kragujevac-Topola, Kragujevac-Gornji Milanovac and the exit branch of the state road Batocina-Kragujevac-Kraljevo, toward Kraljevo and Cacak.

The ring road begins at the fifth kilometer of the state road Kragujevac-Batocina and ends in the settlement of Dragobraca at the beginning of the newly planned Kragujevac-Mrcajevci highway.
