The job contest for the position of the CEO of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) closed on September 15, and 40 applications had been sent to the address of the agency Boyden Western Balkan in Serbia, which is in charge of making a selection of the candidates, the Blic daily reports in today’s issue.

It is surprising that there are that many candidates interested in this position, because it is clear that it requires substantial expert qualifications and great sacrifices due to the problems in EPS, but also the important tasks related to the energy transformation, says the source of Blic close to the Supervisory Board of that company.

The daily writes that the source says that the current acting director of EPS, Dusan Zivkovic, but also his predecessor, Miroslav Tomasevic, have applied.

Mirjana Filipovic, the state secretary at the Ministry of Energy during the time when Aleksandar Antic was the minister of mining and energy, has also applied.
