The acting director of the PE Roads of Serbia, Zoran Drobnjak, and the provincial secretary for energy, construction and transport, Ognjen Bjelic, have signed an agreement on the transfer of monetary funds for the financing of the preparation of the detailed regulation plan, the preliminary design and the project, as well as the accompanying studies, for the construction of the traffic route (ring road) on the route of the E-75 highway (North Interchange-Novi Sad-Veternik-Futog-Begec-Glozan-Celarevo-Backa Palanka), as well as for the preparation of the technical documentation, studies and urban-technical documentation for the reconstruction of the IIA-grade road no. 102, from Temerin to Becej.

As the president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, said, these are projects worth RSD 250 million, of which the Provincial Government has secured RSD 125 million according to this agreement.

– By putting the money together, in the next two years, we will prepare project documentation for the construction of the bypass route, which will enable trucks not to go through Novi Sad anymore in the future – Mirovic said.

He added that it was also important news that the construction of the highway from Belgrade to Zrenjanin would begin in 2023, and then later on, from Zrenjanin to Novi Sad.

– In the coming weeks, the construction of the so-called “smiley” – a fast route from our country’s border with Croatia to the border with Romania, from Sombor to Srpska Crnja, will begin – Mirovic said.

The minister of construction of Serbia, Goran Vesic, also announced the reconstruction of two regional railroads in Vojvodina. These are the railroad parallel with the fast railroad Pancevo-Kikinda-Subotica and the railroad Sombor-Vrbas.
