Price of 13 Items to Be Dropped? – Meeting of Government and Biggest Store Chains Tomorrow

Representatives of the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade and the biggest store chains will determine new, lower prices for a large group of goods on Friday.

After the meeting, which begins at noon, minister Tomislav Momirovic will address the public.

This followed after the research of the National Bank of Serbia, according to which the trade margins of one group of retail chains were nominally higher by 36.6% last year compared to 2019, but also the comments of the governor of the NBS, Jorgovanka Tabakovic, about the big margins.

According to Telegraf’s findings, if they agree, the prices of the following products will be lowered: milk, yoghurt, white cheese in slices, potatoes, poultry (body), processed meat in an easy-peel pack, coffee, chocolate, baby food, baby diapers, shampoo for adults, clothes detergent, dish detergent.
