The Ministry of Economy has adopted the decision by which the sale of Izdavacko preduzece Rad (Publishing Company Rad) from Belgrade is pronounced unsuccessful.

Let us remind that the call for the privatization of Rad was opened on July 26, and the initial price at the public bidding amounted to EUR 3,811,962.85.

– Within the deadline set for the submission of requests for the buyout of the sales documentation, requests were made by two legal persons: MK Office Rent doo Beograd and Vila Libri doo Beograd, which paid the fee for the buyout of sales documentation, signed the Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement and picked up the sales documentation, thereby acquiring the status of participants in the procedure – says the explanation of decision.

The public call said that interested parties could submit applications for taking part in the procedure by August 25 at the latest, an no applications were made within the set deadline.
