Days of Turkish Film from September 11 through 15 at Belgrade Youth Center

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, the Days of Turkish Film will be held in Belgrade from September 11 through 15 this year, at the Belgrade Youth Center.

The event is organized by the Association for Culture, Art and Education Rumeli from Istanbul and the Balkan Panorama Film Festival from Izmir. The Days of Turkish Film have been supported by: the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, the Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society, the Directorate General of Cinema, the Embassy of Turkey in Belgrade, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Belgrade Youth Center, Tamburica Fest and BALGENC (Balkans Platform for Strategic Youth Cooperation) from Istanbul.

Within the Days of Turkish Film, 14 more recent Turkish productions (2022 and 2023), which have received awards, will be shown at the Belgrade Youth Center. These will be local premieres of films that the audience in Serbia will not have the opportunity to see elsewhere. Entrance is free for all screenings, and the films have Serbian subtitles.

Free passes should be picked up one hour before the beginning of each screening at the info desk in the central hall of the Belgrade Youth Center. The number of passes is limited. One visitor can pick up no more than 4 free passes for one screening. The passes are to be distributed until the capacity of the theater is filled out.
