Dutch campers on visit to Sargan - Cira train transported 12,500 passengers from early May
The museum and tourist complex Sarganska Osmica (Sargan Eight) was last weekend visited by a group of 44 campers from Netherlands, as well as 47 railway lovers from Great Britain, France, Australia, and the USA, Aleksandra Stamenic, tourismologist at that complex, told Tanjug news agency on Monday.
Dutch campers were brought, for the second year in a row, by NKC (the Netherlands Camper Club). After touring Mokra Gora, they visited Zlatibor on Monday and got familiar with Sirogojno, Stopica cave, and other tourist destinations on that mountain.
A group of railway lovers from Great Britain, France, Australia, and the USA left Mokra Gora on Sunday night. After arriving in Dobrun (the Republic of Srpska), they came to Mokra Gora on the steam train and then took a special ride to the staton Sargan Vitasi, making numerous stops at interesting places.
- Since the beginning of May, the museum-tourist train Nostalgia, also known as Cira, has transported about 12,500 passengers, including many school excursions, tourists from various European countries, as well as from Japan, Australia, and the USA - Ms. Stamenic told Tanjug.
