Novi Sad Complex to Extend Upward – Construction of 10-Story Office Building, Exhibition Space on 8 Levels and Garage with 400 Parking Spaces Planned

The City Administration for Urban Planning and Construction of Novi Sad has advertised the early public inspection of the conceptual framework of the General Regulation Plan of the Novi Sad Fair Complex. This document envisages the construction of a 10-story office building along Hajduk Veljkova Street, a multifunctional facility with eight floors along Evrope Blvd, as well as a garage with 400 parking spaces.

In the part of the complex which is oriented toward Evrope Blvd, the plan is to build new facilities, as well as a multifunctional facility, with nine floors (including the ground floor), which should act as an exhibition space for the purposes of the fair, and outside the fair events, the facility can be put in the function of sports, commercial features, cultural and similar events.

– The space of the horseback riding school should be canopied, extended in the east part along the stands and connected by a heated corridor with the existing hall. A whole new organization of the space is possible, which is in the function of horseback riding for the majority of the year – the document reads.

The construction of a garage, with a capacity of around 400 parking spaces, is planned within the complex.

The construction of the new facility is planned along Hajduk Veljkova Street, on a parcel with around 4,685 m2, which now contains Hotel Sajam. The construction of an office facility of 11 floors (including the ground floor), within the general city center purpose, is planned.

The plan was prepared by the PE Urbanizam Novi Sad, and the early public inspection will last until September 12.
