Broker: Index of Most Liquid Shares Belex15 Drops 1.9%

The index of the most liquid shares, Belex 15, dropped last week, for the third week in a row, by 1.9% to 854.6 points, whereas the total trade turnover amounted to RSD 49.3 million (EUR 0.4 million), the brokerage house Momentum Securities announced today. The most traded shares were those of Messer Tehnogas, which realized a turnover of RSD 31.1 million, mostly at a price of RSD 13,000.

That big transaction was recorded on Wednesday, and what’s interesting is that this share, which hadn’t recorded big transactions before, reached RSD 16,900, which is its highest value in the past year. Tehnogas has not yet published the half-year business results, which could have a big impact on the movement of the share by the end of the year, and which, prior to this transaction, mostly oscillated around RSD 14,000.

The shares of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) continued recovering, with a small turnover, reaching RSD 713 last week, with a realization of RSD 3.7 million. NIS thereby returned to the levels where it had been before the announcement of the quarterly business results, which led to a drop in the value. This week, on August 24, NIS will pay dividend at RSD 143.3 per share to its shareholders.

The value of the shares of Dunav Osiguranje continued dropping, lowering by 4.2% to RSD 936, with a turnover of RSD 3 million. Toward the end of the week, the demand for the share grew, but without a major turnover due to the lack of offer.

The priority shares of Philip Morris jumped 2.8% to RSD 7,300, whereas the share of the Nikola Tesla Airport dropped nearly 5% to RSD 1,901, after being above RSD 2,000 for a longer time period.
