Termovent Komerc, manufacturer of air conditioning and ventilation systems, builds new plant in Kladovo

When somebody who works for a Serbian company says that their capacities are fully employed and that they cannot accept any new projects, we can draw a conclusion that not every business in our country is on shaky grounds. The company Termovent Komerc, specialized in planning, producing and assembling HVAC equipment (automation of cooling, heating and venting systems) and process systems, plans to have another plant built due to increased volume of work.

Andrija Perovic, CEO, says for eKapija that they have already bought a land in Kladovo and that they expect the construction of a new plant to commence this year.

- The company was formed in 1992 and we have been operating in the European market over the last seven years. We have been working on about 15 facilities, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry, in Belgium, Netherlands, and France. After being hired to participate in the construction of a Koteks Viscofan factory of artificial packaging for the meat-packing industry in Novi Sad, we have changed the project design and installed two compressors operating on the basis of a system of heating pumps, thus significantly saving energy. We are currently in the process of delivering 8 climate chambers (65,000 cubic meters, 640 kW). We have also signed turn key contracts with the Skopje-based pharmaceutical plant Varus and the company Photon Optronics from Nis, which produces night vision instruments. There is also a contract with the Subotica-based pharmaceutical plant, as well as a contract on the delivery pool climate chamber for the city swimming pool in Kragujevac - says our interlocutor.

In addition, the company will also deliver equipment to the Military Medical Academy (VMA).

Perovic explains that the company has three divisions - the equipment production division in Kladovo, the pharmaceutical engineering and planning division, and the service division.

He adds that the new plant will be built in the industrial zone in Kladovo, on a lot spanning 1.5 ha, and it will comprise a better warehouse and more space for raw materials, semi-finished products and final products.

Termovent Komerc currently has about 80 employees, but the expansion of the product portfolio will also result in the employment of new workers. If that decide to produce the same products as before, the company will need to hire additional 10 to 20 people. If they expand their product portfolio, additional 10 people will be hired.

They hope for a help from the state, but no subsidies have been granted to them yet.

Award for the most beautiful booth

At the recently finished Technology Fair in Belgrade, Termovent Komerc won the award for the most beautiful booth. At that event, they present three types of climate chambers: standard climate chamber - STD:Pro, climate chamber for venting swimming pools - Hydra:Pro, which earned them the award for the best product at last year's Technology Fair, and a climate chamber for clean space (operating rooms, pharmacy) - Hygiene:Pro.
