Telekom Srbija to Enter Markets of Germany, Turkey and USA

From July 17, Telekom Srbija will start selling cards for the mobile network in Germany, in October, the company will expand to Turkey, and the USA is next, the CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lucic, said on RTS.

He added that the plan was to open 30 branch offices in Germany within the next year.

Lucic said that they “started the project for the diaspora intensively four years ago, by launching a mobile operator in Austria.”

– We realized that there was huge potential in the diaspora, because we had the content and the digital services they wanted to have. In addition to Austria, we expanded to Switzerland last year, we are now finishing Germany, on July 17, the sale of our cards in Germany will start, possibly online as well, through our portal and 12 distributors, and, within a year, we plan to open 30 branch offices – Lucic said.

He announced Turkey as the next country, and then the USA as well. He points out that they have exceeded 11 million users, and a record was set in 2022.

– The diaspora might enable us to double that number – Lucic says and points out that they will try to establish partnerships with Amazon, Netflix and Facebook.

Telekom Srbija is the majority owner or the full owner of ten companies in Serbia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
