Government of Serbia adopted information on restructuring of companies from military industry - six military companies to remain

Government of Serbia adopted information on concept for restructuring of companies from military industry group. This idea has been worked out for a long time and it is now defined that there will be six companies operating in the field of military industry - Sloboda Čačak, Krušik Valjevo, Zastava oružje, Prva iskra namenska, Prvi partizan Užice and "Milan Blagojević namenska".

Restructuring of these companies implies separation of civilian from military programs. Also, obligations of these companies towards the State will be converted into State-owned capital, which will make State-owned share in these companies even bigger. The number of employees will be decreased in accordance with the needs of our Army and in accordance with the capacities and export perspectives of this industry.
