In addition to representatives of the Customs Administration, the event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, EU Delegation, Ministry of European Integration, as well as experts of the consortium which has been entrusted with the realization of the project.
It is planned for the project “Implementation of Automated Systems of Import and Export (AIS/AES) and Customs Decision Management System (CDS)”, worth EUR 9 million, which is financed from the IPA 2020 – Democracy and Governance program, to be completed in the next three years.
– With the automation of imports and exports, all customs procedures will be fully digitized in line with the highest European and world standards, which will enable even simpler, cheaper and more efficient business operations for companies, and with that a more efficient collection of budget revenues – says the Customs Administration.
