The company cargo-partner invests EUR 21.5 million in Slovakia
The international transport and logistics company cargo-partner builds up a logistics center in Dunajska Streda in Slovakia. The end of the first phase of the construction of a warehouse, spaning 7,300 sqm out of total of 30,000 sqm, is planned for the first quarter of 2012, the company announced.
The new and modern logistics center is only 46 km away from Bratislava and it spans a total of 60,000 sqm, 30,000
sqm of which should be occupied by warehouse facilities offering sufficient storage place for 50,000
pallets.
“Due to the size of our logistics center we will create 100 new jobs”, says Tibor Majzún, managing director of cargo-partner in Slovakia.
Over the last few years the cargo-partner group has experienced a steady growth and expanded to a large variety of countries. Now it is time to invest in the future market of Slovakia and to create new possibilities with the construction of a new logistics center.
The logistics center is located right next to the container terminal Metrans, which is connected with the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Koper and Rijeka. This proximity enables cargo-partner to carry out an emission-free loading of the cargo directly into the container.
“When considering building the center we were thinking about two things. We wanted to help our customers to save their costs while transporting the goods to the warehouse and at the same time we wanted to have a minimum influence on the environment. Furthermore the transport is much more safer this way,“ says Stefan Krauter, the chairman of cargo-partner.
The company cargo-partner is an international
