The Morava Airport in Ladjevci, between Cacak and Kragujevac, which opened for civil air traffic in June 2019, is the closest airport and connection to European cities for the citizens of central and western Serbia.

This summer, seasonal lines to Thessaloniki, Tivat and Istanbul are to be launched again, and the transporter is Air Serbia, on whose website the prices of these flights can be viewed.

In addition to civil air traffic, in the next period, the plan is to also realize cargo transport from the Morava Airport in Ladjevci, based on which this airport in the heart of Serbia would become not just a national, but also a regional center for the transport of goods.

The construction of a new runway is planned, which will be built in line with all the standards of cargo traffic. It will be 3.5 kilometers long and 60 meters wide.

The Spatial Plan of the special purpose of the Morava Airport is being prepared, which will create the conditions for the development of cargo traffic, and considering the construction of the Morava Corridor and the fast route, this part of Serbia will become the biggest traffic hub.
