Preparatory Works on Construction of Facility Within BIO4 Campus Begin

The preparatory works on the construction of the facility within the BIO4 Campus in the village of Rakovica where animals used for the purposes of the Torlak Institute will be housed have started.

Having visited the site, the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said that the BIO4 Campus project would ensure the further sustainable growth, so that Serbia could keep its place among the European leaders in the field of modern technologies, because, as she added, biotechnology is the future, a synergy between information technologies and artificial intelligence and everything that carries the name of science of life.

The BIO4 Campus, whose name stands for four key areas: biomedicine, biotechnology, bioinformatics and biodiversity, is a unique multidisciplinary project in the wider region. The plan is for it to feature science institutions and faculties.
