New bottled water from Paracin - Sveta Petka
The company Wode plans to build and put in operation the water bottling plant Sveta Petka Izvorska in the village of Izvor near Paracin. However, the management of Belgrade-based Wode still works on collecting the required permits and consents for the construction of the plant that will occupy an area of 4 hectares.
The plan is that the whole equipment be placed in a 7,000-square-meter production hall.
According to Dragan Asanin, CEO of the company, about 95% of bottled water will be exported, thus enabling the plant to achieve positive business results.
The plant will employ 100 workers of various profiles. The value of the entire investment, including a well 211 meters deep with the capacity of 7.5 liters of water per second, will amount to EUR 14 million, while additional funds will be required for the work of the pump.
Mr. Asanin says that the municipality of Paracin will have an annual revenue of EUR 270,000 from the republic tax.
