Bor Should Get Two New Shopping Centers in Next Two Years

Among the decisions on the agenda for the next session of the City Assembly of Bor will also be the proposal for the alienation of a part of the city-owned land next to the Sports Center, by the former Rudar stadium, meant for the construction of a shopping center.

The company BIG Fashion, which has offered close to RSD 300 million, is interested in this space, where a new shopping center should be built in the next two years, with 15 thousand square meters of business space, where several hundred persons might be employed. If the decision is adopted, all the works should be completed by mid-2025 at the latest.

This is not the only shopping center that is being built, says the mayor of Bor, Aleksandar Milikic.

– In the former Zastava building in Zeleni Blvd, another, smaller, shopping center will be opened. The investor has contacted us and the center will primarily employ women, who make up the majority of those listed in the register of the National Employment Service in Bor – Milikic said.
