NLB Group and Delta Agree Project Financing of Reconstruction of Sava Centar Worth EUR 55 Million

NLB Group, that is, the parent NLB Bank from Ljubljana and its member in the Serbian market NLB Komercijalna Banka, have signed an agreement on the project financing of Sava Centar worth EUR 55 million with the Delta Congress Center, the group announced.

The total investment of Delta is meant for one of the most demanding and important architectural endeavors in our country – the complete reconstruction of more than 100,000 square meters of congress, office and retail space in New Belgrade, will exceed EUR 100 million.

We therefore want to thank our partners from the Delta Congress Center for the opportunity to support the reconstruction of the legendary edifice, which will bring back entertainment and culture, but also relaunch the congress industry in the country and the region – pointed out Vlastimir Vukovic, the president of the Executive Board of NLB Komercijalna Banka.

Let us remind that, since its opening in 1977, Sava Centar has hosted over 1.6 million passengers at over 7,000 local and international congresses and conferences, among which are the General Assembly of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the General Assembly of the UNESCO, OSCE and the Assembly of the EBRD.
