At the 13th session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation of Serbia and Hungary, the decision on the construction of an oil pipeline from Algyo in Hungary to Novi Sad in Serbia was adopted. This oil pipeline, longer than 100 kilometers, would be built by the Hungarian MOL and the Serbia Transnafta, stated the minister of foreign affairs and trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, as announced by the Government of Serbia.

– Also, a new mixed company will be formed, which will take part in the modernization of the power grid, and we also reached an agreement on building the border crossing Roszke-Horgos on the highway, which would be in line with the most modern European standards – Szijjarto said.

He added that the relevant agreement would be signed at the joint session of the governments of the two countries, which should be held the next month.
