Tender for Construction of Caricin Grad Visitors Center Worth RSD 166.5 Million Published – Here’s What the Plan Includes

The Municipality of Lebane has published the tender for the construction of the Visitors Center within the Caricin Grad archaeological location.

The tender which entails construction works, water and sewer system works, electrical and mechanical installations, exterior development, fire protection and the construction of a parking lot, is worth RSD 166.5 million.

At this 6th century archaeological location, as announced earlier, the reconstruction of the existing visitors center Teodora, the construction of an amphitheater and the construction of a large parking lot are planned.

As can be seen from the tendering documentation, among other things, the plan includes glass facades and facades made of natural crushed stone, a rooftop covering with gravel and stonecrops, the demolition of the existing terrace in front of the existing facility of the visitors center, a café, an information desk, a conference hall, an exhibition hall, and interactive desk with the object recognition function and a virtual reality zone with VR goggles.

When it comes to the exterior development, in addition to the construction of an amphitheater, the plan includes the establishment of green areas and the construction of a fountain and a parking lot.

The tender is open until June 5.
