Interex hypermarket opened in Čačak, part of French market chain Intermarche, soon in Niš and another 11 locations in Serbia
The first Interex hypermarket, part of French market chain Intermarche, was opened in Čačak. Amount of €4m was invested in Čačak-based hypermarket. Opening of hypermarket in Niš in August is in the pipeline. Another 11 hypermarkets are supposed to be opened in Serbia prior to the end of 2006.
Interex operates according to European quality standards, but it also adapts to the local market and operations on that market. That means that Interex accepts all types of credit cards and checks that can be used for delayed payment of 90 days. 93% of the goods is made in Serbia, where only 7% is imported.
