Stadium in Cuprija to Be Expanded – While Waiting for Track and Field Stadium, Municipality Seeking Contractors for Construction of Western Stands

The Municipality of Cuprija has opened the public procurement procedure for the development of the stadium in that place with the construction of the western stands, and the value of the works has been estimated at RSD 1 million.

According to the documentation, the stadium location features modern running tracks and newly built southern stands.

On the east side of the stadium, another project envisages the construction of a track-and-field court, which will not be the subject of this project, and the rest of said space needs to be developed.

The project also encompasses the construction of the western stands with a canopy, and the design of the stands needs to be solved, as does the space beneath the stands (rooms like the sanitary block, pantry, rooms for the needs of the stadium etc.) The landscaping needs to be solved, all the free space around and behind the stands needs to be developed, and the fence behind the western stands needs to be reconstructed.

The facility which is located in close proximity to the newly planned western stands should be envisaged as a facility for the purposes of an exhibition hall on the ground floor, whereas a canopied hospitality facility needs to be planned on the upper floor.

The reconstruction of the main entrance on the north side toward Cara Lazara Street is also planned. In addition to the reconstruction of the fence on the north side, the rest of the free space needs to be developed and side facilities need to be envisaged (in terms of control, the ticket booth, the parking spaces…).

On the southern stands, in the middle part of the space beneath the stands, a sanitary block should be planned. Within the southern stands, a ticket booth and the access control part also need to be planned.

Landscaping needs to be developed, parking spaces need to be planned, and the free area around and behind the stands needs to be developed. An automatic irrigation system for the football field needs to be planned as well. The project should envisage the lighting of the stadium.

The deadline for the submission of bids is April 27, 2023.
